Lil Eepy is a casual session game for iPhone — a tiny creature you smoosh awake, with a card you keep as a memory of each session. We built it to be played with, not to harvest data. This page describes exactly what the app does and does not collect.
Anonymous usage analytics. The app uses Amplitude to collect anonymous product-interaction events so we can understand what people do in the app and fix rough spots. Events cover session lifecycle (app opened, app backgrounded), core gameplay (smoosh fired, wake card earned, heat tier reached), onboarding milestones (first smoosh, ceremony completed), share funnel (share opened, share completed), and cache navigation (card viewed, card swiped). Events are tied to an Amplitude-generated anonymous device identifier and a RevenueCat anonymous app-user ID so analytics and purchase history join on a stable identifier — neither identifier is tied to you. We also receive standard crash reports and performance diagnostics. No precise location, no contacts, no health data, no IDFA. We do not collect the content of anything you create.
Purchases. In-app purchases are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat, which receives a randomized app-user ID and transaction metadata so we can validate purchases and restore them across reinstalls. Apple, not Lil Eepy, processes payment information.
Local data on your device. Earned cards (your collection), lifetime smoosh and wake counters, background-stage progression, and onboarding state are stored in standard iOS UserDefaults on your device. Deleting the app removes this data — there is no cloud copy.
Sharing to Photos. When you save a share card, iOS shows a system prompt asking permission to add a photo to your library. The app never reads your existing photos.
Lil Eepy is rated for general audiences and contains no chat, no user-to-user communication, and no targeted ads. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at the address below and we will delete it.
Because we don't tie data to an identifiable person, there is generally nothing personal to access or delete. You can clear all local data at any time by deleting the app. Anonymous analytics events are retained by Amplitude per their default retention policy. If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
